Are you looking for a private guide who caters to all of your needs when you are in Japan? I'm a professional, private guide in Tokyo and am committed to offering my guests a stress-free, enjoyable and memorable trip in which you can feel as if you are guided by a local Japanese friend with personal warmth and without any language barrier. Unlike fixed or group tours, you are free to change your travel plan anytime to cater more to your interest or to deal with unexpected situations. In any case, I'd be more than happy to help you to make your trip even better.
My name is Koichiro (my nickname is Koji!) and I've stayed in Southern California for 3 years and graduated from an American college there. After returning to Japan in 2015, I got a license for a national tour guide in Japan by passing the national exam in the following year. Since then, I've been guiding countless guests from overseas and now I'm registered on major websites for connecting tour guides with tourists such as TripAdvisor, ToursByLocals, and Triplelights with great reviews from my awesome guests!
I truly like having great time with people and am happy to show you around Tokyo by sharing my knowledge and experiences as a professional guide and, more importantly, as a local. I'm more than happy to introduce you to hidden gems, authentic restaurants, and bars in Tokyo (Tokyo has the best food!).
I'd like to guide you as my real friend and will offer sheer hospitality and lasting friendship to you so that you can truly value the moments in Tokyo. I'll explain Japanese things through the eyes of local Japanese so that you can have clearer ideas on what they really are.
Please check my tours below and feel free to message me for any questions/suggestions! Hope to see you in Tokyo:)
